Healthcare

Prevention, anticipation and fast action

The health and well-being of our children is a top priority. We take a proactive approach to healthcare, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to grow up healthy and resilient.

From the moment a child enters our care, we focus on preventive health measures including proper hygiene practices and routine medical check-ups. All caregivers are trained in first aid and one caregiver brings additional medical knowledge to the team. We also maintain a small infirmary at the Children’s Village for temporary care and observation.

Many children arrive with untreated health conditions due to difficult circumstances. Our team works closely with healthcare professionals and trained volunteers to ensure these issues are addressed, and that each child's physical and emotional health is carefully monitored over time.

To ensure access to healthcare without delay, we provide health insurance for all children—including those in our Relatives Support Program. This support allows us to respond promptly to medical needs and maintain the highest possible standard of care for every child.
