Malaika Kids is an organization currently active in 4 countries; The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the USA and Tanzania. The first three countries are primarily for fundraising for the actual help we provide the orphans in Tanzania.
All donor countries activities are completely run by volunteers, thus ensuring that almost all donations are sent to Tanzania to be used where they were intended for.

Malaika Kids is a volunteer-driven organisation: from our trustees to our interns, all of our non-Tanzanian staff are unpaid volunteers. This means we’re always on the lookout for dedicated professional people who want to volunteer and help. Our volunteers range from builders supervising the construction project to Dr Simon Cooper, our medical advisor. Currently we are looking for volunteers with educational or TEFL qualifications who can help our children with English, mathematics and IT.
In the USA we are currently still a small organization and certainly open for your help. This can be done by fundraising, by organising events, by going out as a volunteer to teach the children in our care.
