$2.10 per day

The real cost of looking after a child is only $2.10 per day, or $64.13 per month.

This breakdown includes their individual care, food, clothing, education and medical bills. Obviously, for those requiring hearing aids, glasses or special education, they receive whatever their personal needs require.

Over the last 10 years 97% of all our income has consistently gone directly to support the children and our work in Tanzania. Those of us based in the USA,UK and NL are all volunteers and we have paid staff only in Tanzania.

Through robust local and international management and monitoring we keep our costs to a minimum and ensure your money goes where you want it to go, to the care of the children.

You could give a general donation, sponsor a child, or you could donate for specifics such as:

$15 per month will ensure the agricultural project remains self-sufficient in the production of eggs, mango, spinach and help for the veterinary care of the chickens and goats.

$30 per month child sponsorship helps cover the cost of a child placed with relatives. This includes clothes, food, toiletries and monthly checks on the child.

$45 per month helps to cover one child’s care in the village and school fees. This includes their individual care, food, clothing, education and medical bills.

$75 per month over 3 years will pay for one child’s vocational training and will enable them to have a secure future once they have left the village and our care.

$90 per month will cover the salary of one of the Mamas. Each mother lives in a family unit within the Children’s Village providing regular care and support for 10 children.
